For the second consecutive week, Georgia Tech’s Kyleen Bell and Kele Eveland earn the Atlantic Coast Conference Player and Rookie of the Week Honors respectively.
Bell, a junior middle hitter, finished the week averaging 4.17 kills, 3.83 digs, 1.83 blocks per game and a .458 hitting percentage while marching the Yellow Jackets to a 2-0 record on the week. Georgia Tech defeated Wake Forest and Duke on the road to improve its league record to 5-1. The Rocklin, California native recorded her best match of the week against Wake Forest when she tallied 14 kills, 13 digs, six blocks and a .400 hitting percentage.

The ACC Rookie of the Week honor is captured by teammate Kele Eveland who led the Jackets from the setter position recording 13.83 assists per game as well as adding 4.33 digs and 1.33 kills per game. The freshmen who hails from Grand Rapids, Michigan tallied 47 assists against the Demon Deacons and 36 against the Blue Devils.
The Jackets (14-4, 5-1) return to action Tuesday at 7 p.m. when they face ACC rival Clemson (8-10, 3-3) at home in O’Keefe Gymnasium.
