March 7, 2014

THE FLATS — A lengthy list of benefits and incentives are in store for fans who purchase 2014 Georgia Tech football season tickets that went on sale today.

Season tickets — and details on the benefits — can be purchased on a special web site — TogetherWeSwarm.com — or by calling 1-888-TECH-TIX. The base price for season tickets is $245, plus any applicable Tech Fund donation.

Georgia Tech’s six-game home schedule this fall includes the season opener vs. Wofford (Aug. 30), the Yellow Jackets’ first game ever against Georgia Southern (Sept. 13), and ACC opponents Miami (Oct. 4), Duke (Oct. 11), Virginia (Nov. 1 — Homecoming) and Clemson (Nov. 15). Every home game will be played on a Saturday this season with game times determined at a later date.

“In an effort to show our appreciation for their investment in Georgia Tech Football, we’ve worked hard this off-season to develop a full suite of benefits for our season ticket holders ,” said Rick Thorpe, Associate Athletic Director — Sales and Fan Experiences. “We’re focused on improving the gameday experience for Tech supporters as well as bringing in new fans to fill Bobby Dodd Stadium this fall.”

Georgia Tech officials are offering several new benefits to those who purchase or renew season tickets by April 15th:

• Discount over single-game face-value pricing.

Another new benefit for new Tech season ticket holders that purchase by April 15 will have the ability to purchase additional single-game tickets – as many as eight per account – at a hefty discount. Single-game tickets for each game including Clemson, will be available for 25 percent off of face value.
