THE FLATS — A lengthy list of benefits and incentives are in store for Georgia Tech football season ticket holders, who can renew those tickets from now through the April 15th deadline.
Season tickets — and details on the benefits — can be renewed on a special web site — TogetherWeSwarm.com — or by calling 1-888-TECH-TIX. The base price for season tickets is $245, plus any applicable Tech Fund donation.
Georgia Tech’s six-game home schedule this fall includes the season opener vs. Wofford (Aug. 30), the Yellow Jackets’ first game ever against Georgia Southern (Sept. 13), and ACC opponents Miami (Oct. 4), Duke (Oct. 11), Virginia (Nov. 1 — Homecoming) and Clemson (Nov. 15). Every home game will be played on a Saturday this season with game times determined at a later date.
“Based upon fan feedback from surveys, focus groups, phone and email communication, and reviewing national trends, we’ve worked hard this off-season to develop a full suite of benefits for our valued fans, in an effort to show our appreciation for their investment in Georgia Tech Football,” said Rick Thorpe, Associate Athletic Director — Sales and Fan Experiences. “We’re focused on improving the gameday experience for Tech supporters, as well as extending value that they’ll realize on a near year-round basis.”
Georgia Tech officials are offering several new benefits to those who renew season tickets by April 15th:
Discount over single-game face-value pricing.
Georgia Tech Season Ticket Holder Day at Six Flags (June 15).
Free entry to new “Dodd After Dark¨ summer movie series inJuly.
Access to an exclusive team scrimmage in August.
Complimentary season ticket holder gift.
Ability to request two complimentary guest tickets to the homeopener.
New gameday tailgating experience.
Grant Field personal/family holiday photo event.
In addition, the popular Renewal Rewards program returns. Drawings for prizes, team experiences, Yellow Jacket gear and many other surprises are in store for season ticket holders who renew by April 15th. This promotion involves a series of four drawing dates during the renewal period of Feb. 25-April 15, with five season ticket holders being drawn every-other-week. The sooner one renews, the more chances they’ll have to win rewards.
Another new benefit for renewing or new Tech season ticket holders who come on board by the deadline will have the ability to purchase additional single-game tickets ¡V as many as eight per account ¡V at a hefty discount. Single-game tickets for each game including Clemson, will be available for 25 percent off of face value.
Other benefits include concessions discounts for the Spring Game on April 18, priority entry to Fan Day in August, weekly drawings for pre-game field access in-season, exclusive road game and bowl ticket access, online ticket transfer technology, season parking options, a significant discount for a home men¡¦s and women’s basketball game in 2014-15, and priority access to Stinger Seat rentals.
Also new this year is a ticketing system and service team structure that will allow season ticket holders to exclusively manage their season ticketing needs throughout the year.
