THE FLATS — It was the defensive #ProJackets that highlighted action in week seven of the NFL season last week, while a few #ProJackets joined a number of other great alums back on The Flats for the Yellow Jackets’ 38-24 homecoming win over Wake Forest this past weekend.
In his first game action of the 2017 season, Jeremiah Attaochu recorded two solo stops to help the Los Angeles Chargers shut out the Denver Broncos with a 21-0 win, while Shaq Mason helped block for the New England Patriots’ offense to gain a total of 403 yards in their 23-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons.
Kicker Harrison Butker, who along with former Pittsburgh Steelers’ practice squad member Justin Thomas (was released by Pittsburgh on Oct. 18), returned to The Flats this past weekend for the homecoming game, was a perfect 3-for-3 in the field goal department on Thursday night in the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss to the Oakland Raiders, which included an NFL career-long 53 yard field goal for the first-year #ProJacket.

Tech #ProJackets defensive linemen in Derrick Morgan (three total tackles, 1.5 sacks), Michael Johnson (five total tackles) and Adam Gotsis (two total tackles), as well as defensive back Chris Milton (one total tackle) all recorded stats albeit in a losing effort.
