THE FLATS – Georgia Tech’s Aquatic Center returns to championship form this week for the 2015 ACC Women’s Swimming & Diving Championship.

The four-day championship will be held Feb. 18-21 and will be the first of two conference championships held on the Georgia Tech campus. Tech will also host the 2015 ACC Men’s Swimming Championship Feb. 25-28. Doors open at 9 a.m. ET each day. Admission is free for all sessions.

ESPN3 will broadcast the finals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday beginning at 6 p.m. ET. Live results will be available throughout the day at RamblinWreck.com.

Georgia Tech’s women’s team posted a 7-8 record during the regular season with a 3-4 mark in ACC dual competition. The Yellow Jackets posted wins over No. 11 Notre Dame (157-143) and No. 44 Florida State (152-148) in their home pool in October.

Senior Kate Brandus and junior diver Shannon Lumbra lead the Yellow Jackets into the championship as the team looks to improve upon last season’s 10th-place finish. Fifteen swimmers and five divers will represent the White and Gold in the ACC Championships.

Wednesday’s schedule of events begins at 10 a.m. with the women’s 3-meter diving prelims, followed by the men’s 1-meter diving prelims at 2 p.m. The women’s 3-meter diving final will take place at 5 p.m. The day will conclude at 6 p.m. with the finals of the 200 medley relay, men’s 1-meter diving and 800 freestyle relay.
