On Coach Tenuta
We are getting started today at 4 o’clock and I am sure Coach Tenuta will make sure our secondary is ready go, mentally and physically. Coach is going to get at us and develop all the players that are around to be ready to go come September 2nd.
On leadership role while other CB position not solidified
Not only do I need to be a leader in the secondary, I know I need to be a leader on this team. It is our senior year and we want to go out with a bang, bottom line. We want to do bigger and better things than the past senior class. Everyone needs to be a leader and step up on this team.
On enjoying having Notre Dame come in for the first game
It is great and it is what we have come to expect at Tech. Last year we opened up at Auburn and my freshman year we opened against BYU. This is just another big game and we are going to go out there and try and take care of business like we have in the past.
On excitement of playing against Notre Dame
It is going to get you going, playing against a high tier team. We look forward to it. It will also get us more prepared for second, third and fourth games because we have pushed ourselves very hard.
