Atlanta – The Georgia Tech men’s and women’s basketball teams will hosts their annual HoopsFest Saturday, Oct. 21 at the Alexander Memorial Coliseum from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Both teams will hold open scrimmages for the fans, with the women tipping off at 5:00 p.m. and the men following with two 20-minute halves from 5:20 to 6:00 p.m. Following the scrimmages, Tech basketball players and coaches will be on hand to meet with the fans and sign autographs.
There will be indoor fun for the entire family and fans of all ages featuring an inflatable fun house, face painting and Pop-a-Shots basketball games. The AMC concessions will also be open for the fans. Join the Yellow Jackets and help them kick off the 2006-07 season when doors open at 4:30 p.m. Admission is free. Fans should enter the AMC at Gate 3 with free parking in the Coliseum lot.
