Michael Devoe earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference recognition three times in his Georgia Tech career – third-team as a senior and honorable mention as a sophomore and junior. He also was named Georgia men’s college player of the year by the Atlanta Tipoff Club. A smooth, left-handed combo guard with a high basketball IQ, Devoe developed into one of the ACC’s top outside shooters and standout all-around players. He finished his career 12th on Tech’s all-time scoring list with 1,704 points and seventh with 223 three-point field goals. He also finished 12th in assists and 11th in steals.
As a senior, he finished No. 3 in the ACC in scoring (17.90 ppg), No. 4 in three-point percentage (.365), No. 10 in ACC in 3pt FG per game (2.26), and No. 8 in minutes (34.54 mpg) … Also posted a career-high average in rebounds (4.9 rpg). He was one of only nine Division I players, and the only one from a power conference school, to average at least 17.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.4 steals per game.
