After exercising his option to play an additional year due to COVID-19, Bubba Parham wound up playing just two games in 2021-22 due to injury. He missed Tech’s first nine games after undergoing surgery Oct. 26 to repair a torn meniscus in right knee, then went through in health and safety protocols. He made his season debut vs. Louisville Jan. 2 (14:39 minutes), then played 27 turnover-free minutes at Duke (three assists, zero turnovers, three steals). Parham did not play after that as his knee did not recover. The former All-Southern Conference performer at VMI scored 1,452 points in his college career, 327 of those at Tech, and hit 231 career three-point field goals (57 at Tech).
