The 2021 “Mr. Basketball” in the state of Florida was a solid and key contributor for the Yellow Jackets in his freshman year, averaging 6.2 points to finish the season fifth on the team in all games and in ACC games only. Coleman averaged 23.7 minutes per game and earned five starts, including March 2 against Clemson and in the ACC Tournament against Louisville. He connected on 41.3 percent (43-of-104) of his three-point attempts, 36.0 percent in ACC games (27-of-75), numbers which rivaled those of All-ACC teammate Michael Devoe when he was a freshman (42-of-107, .393). Coleman scored in double figures seven times, four vs. ACC teams, including 15 at Miami and 14 vs. FSU (hit three 3-pt FG each game).
