Four Georgia Tech Men's Tennis Players Earn ITA Regional Rankings

Two singles players and two doubles teams from Georgia Tech were among the top-30 in the Mideast Region in the latest regional rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA).

Included in the singles rankings were David North and Marko Rajavec, who were both ranked No. 30 in the listing.

In the doubles rankings, the All-American doubles team of North and Rajevac were ranked ninth while the team of Scott Blackmon and Zachary Rath appeared as the No. 15 team.

The ITA will release the first national team and invididual rankings January 10th.

The Yellow Jackets will begin their 2006 season at the Mexico Invitational in Manzanillo, Mexico, January 11-15 and their first dual match will be against Furman on February 8.
