Georgia Tech’s 2003 football home opener against Auburn will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 6, and the first game in the newly expanded, 55,000-seat Bobby Dodd Stadium at Historic Grant Field will be televised by ABC-TV.
Kickoff times have been set for four games this fall, all of which will be televised on national networks.
The Yellow Jackets open the 2003 season on Thursday, Aug. 28 with a nationally televised game at Brigham Young. The Tech-BYU game will kick off at 9:30 p.m. ET at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah, and will be televised on ESPN2.
After hosting Auburn on Sept. 6, Tech travels to Florida State on Sept. 13 in a game that will kick off at 8 p.m. at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, Fla., and will be televised by ABC.
Later in the fall, Tech hosts Maryland on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 7:45 p.m. in a nationally televised contest on ESPN.
Kickoff times and television designations for all remaining games will be announced 12 days prior to each game.
