Former Georgia Tech Volleyball Standout Lynnette Moster Training with US National Team

Oct. 20, 2005

Former Georgia Tech volleyball standout Lynnette Moster (Liberty, Ind.) is one of eight players who has been invited to train with the USA Women’s National team at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo.

The three-time AVCA all-American joins a group of players made up of current national team members who will train with first-year head coach “Jenny” Lang Ping for several weeks before narrowing the roster down and heading to Japan to join the remainder of the national team members who are currently playing overseas.

“We are certainly thrilled that Lynnette has been given this opportunity,” said head coach Bond Shymansky. “I think it’s every girl’s dream as a child to have a chance to train and play against the best, and Lynnette is certainly getting that opportunity. I have no doubt that Lynnette will give it everything that she is capable of and will also represent Georgia Tech in a fine manner.”
