Georgia Tech students are invited to send off the Yellow Jacket football team as they depart Friday afternoon for Saturday’s season opener at Auburn.
Tech and the 16th-ranked Tigers kick off the 2005 season Saturday night at 8:45 p.m. ET at Jordan-Hare Stadium in the nationally-televised (ESPN) contest.
The Jackets will depart campus Friday at 3 p.m. Tech students are invited to gather at 2:30 p.m. in the Callaway Plaza area on Bobby Dodd Way at the north end of Bobby Dodd Stadium to cheer the team as they load the buses.
Georgia Tech team bracelets will be on sale at Callaway Plaza from 1-3 p.m. Friday. The gold and white rubber bracelets can be purchased for $4 (cash only).
