TARRAGONA, Spain – Georgia Tech swimming & diving rising sophomore Christian Ferrarorepresented his country of Italy in the men’s 200 meter butterfly event at the XVIII Mediterranean Games in Tarragona, Spain on Monday, June 25.
Ferraro, who earned a spot in the men’s 200 meter butterfly event finals with a heat time of 1:59.88, touched the wall in fifth-place overall in the finals with a time of 1:58.38, just .22-tenths of a second out of third-place and earning a medal.
Ferraro, Tim Slanschek and recent 2018 graduate Moises Loschi will all be in international action this weekend to compete in the Setti Colli event on June 29-July 1 in Rome, Italy.
