Faye Takes Leave of Absence

ATLANTA – Mouhammad Faye, a sophomore forward for Georgia Tech’s men’s basketball team, has taken an indefinite leave of absence from the team for personal reasons, head coach Paul Hewitt announced Saturday.

The 6-10 Faye, a native of Dakar, Senegal, has played in five games this year, averaging 2.2 points. He played in 30 games last season, starting eight, and averaged 3.9 points after red-shirting in the 2005-06 season.
