England and Stowers Lead Tech at NCAA Zone B Diving Championships

ATHENS, Ga. – Junior Evan Stowers finished seventh on the men’s platform (632.15) and junior Stephanie England finished ninth on the women’s platform (494.90) to lead Georgia Tech on the final day of the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at Gabrielsen Natatorium on Sunday.

Stowers, a native of Independence, Ky., tallied a score of 708.30 on the men’s three-meter springboard to finish fourth on Saturday to stamp his ticket to the NCAA Championships, making the meet for the second straight season. He garnered All-America honors a year ago on the platform.

The Men’s NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships will take place in Minneapolis, Minn., March 15-17, on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
