THE FLATS – Georgia Tech continued its annual tradition of being well-represented on the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team, having eight Yellow Jackets honored.
The eight student-athletes marks the 11th-straight year the Georgia Tech has had eight or more recognitions on the CSCAA Scholar All-America team.
The Yellow Jackets receiving the honor are:
Men:
Austin Daniel*** // Computer Science
Christian Ferraro // Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering
Justin Alderson** (HM) // Mechanical Engineering
Kyle Barone**** (HM) // Computer Science
Women:
Anna Bradescu** // Mathematics
McKenzie Campbell** // Industrial Engineering
Claudia Butterfield (HM) // Business Administration
Kelsey Dekshenieks (HM) // Business Administration
Barone led the way with his team-best fourth Scholar All-American selection, while Daniel garnered his third of his career. Alderson, Bradescu and Campbell also all brought in their second scholar selection.
