Dyke Named Academic All-America

ATLANTA– – Georgia Tech punter Dan Dyke was named to the Verizon Academic All-America first team for the third straight year.

Dyke, a junior from Winter Springs, Fla., maintains a 3.88 grade point average in Electrical Engineering. He averaged 41.2 yards per punt this season and boasts a career average of 42.3 yards.

Selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the Verizon Academic All-America team is open to student-athletes who are starters or important reserves with a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
