THE FLATS – Georgia Tech diving will compete in the Zone ‘B’ Diving Championship at McAuley Aquatic Center from March 6-9. The annual event is how divers qualify for the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships, also being hosted at McAuley Aquatic Center.
Competition begins on March 6 with women’s 1-meter diving and will end on March 9 with men’s platform diving. The full schedule is linked above and listed below:

4:45 p.m. – Women’s 1-Meter Finals
Monday, March 7
11 a.m. – Men’s 1-Meter Prelims
1:15 p.m. – Men’s 1-Meter Finals
3:15 p.m. – Women’s 3-Meter Prelims
6 p.m. – Women’s 3-Meter Finals
Tuesday, March 8
11 a.m. – Men’s 3-Meter Prelims
1:15 p.m. – Men’s 3-Meter Finals
3:15 p.m. – Women’s Platform Prelims
5:20 p.m. – Women’s Platform Finals
Wednesday, March 9
11 a.m. – Men’s Platform Prelims
1:15 p.m. – Men’s Platform Finals
The Yellow Jackets will have six divers competing on various boards throughout the meet with all six competing on Tuesday, March 8.
The divers and the boards they are competing on are:
- Ruben Lechuga – 1-Meter, 3-Meter, Platform
- Allen Mann – 1-Meter, 3-Meter, Platform
- Anna Bradescu – 3-Meter, Platform
- Kelsey Dekshenieks – Platform
- Camryn Hidalgo – 1-Meter, 3-Meter, Platform
- Carmen Woodruff – 1-Meter, 3-Meter, Platform
The top 10 women divers on the 1-Meter and 3-Meter boards and the top nine on the Platform will qualify for the NCAA Championships. On the men’s side, the top eight divers in the 1-Meter board, top 11 divers on the 3-Meter board and top seven divers on the Platform will qualify. There will be prelims and finals with scores being cumulative.
Tech comes off an ACC Championship highlighted by Lechuga winning silver on the 1-Meter board and Hidalgo qualifying for the finals on all three boards.
