Quentin Jones is in his second season at Georgia Tech. He came to Tech as a graduate assistant in 2023 and was named quality control (safeties) in 2024.

Jones brought two years of full-time coaching experience to The Flats in 2023 after spending two seasons as cornerbacks coach and assistant secondary coach at Lehigh (2021-22). In his two seasons as a coach at his alma mater, Jones coached a pair of all-Patriot League performers, including two-time first-team honoree Tygee Leach.

Prior to beginning his coaching career, Jones played professional football with the Memphis Express of the Alliance of American Football and the Nojima Rise of Japan’s X League in 2019. With the Rise, he was the only player in the league to score an offensive and defensive touchdown during the ‘19 season.

Jones was a four-year letterwinner and two-year captain at Lehigh from 2014-17. He helped lead the Mountain Hawks to a pair of Patriot League championships as a defensive back.

He graduated from Lehigh with a B.A. in sociology in 2018.
