THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech men’s tennis team earned two entries in the 2025 ITA Preseason Rankings as announced on Tuesday.
Christophe Clement will begin the season ranked as the No. 53 singles player in the nation. The senior becomes the first preseason singles entry for the Yellow Jackets since 2022 when Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel each took top-100 honors.
Clement enjoyed a breakout 2024-25 season, posting 23 wins across the campaign and 16 spring dual-match victories. The rising senior played across Courts 3-4 in singles play and tallied an 11-match unbeaten streak through the middle of the spring which included two ranked wins.
Clement and Gianluca Carlini were ranked as the No. 66 pairing in the nation following strong seasons in doubles play.
Carlini achieved 20 singles and 20 doubles wins, one of the highest win totals for a freshman in program history. Carlini was named to the 2025 All-ACC Doubles Third Team alongside Nate Bonetto, ranked as high as the No. 11 pairing with three top-30 ranked wins. Clement was ranked as high as No. 19 with Krish Arora in doubles.
