Chris Khosravi Finishes Sixth in Platform Dive on Final Day of NCAA Zone B Championships

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s Chris Khosravi finished sixth overall in the platform dive on the third and final day of the 2010 NCAA Zone B Diving Championships at the GT Aquatic Center.

Khosravi, who was the only Georgia Tech athlete to compete on the day, qualified for the finals in the platform after posting a combined score of 253.60. The mark put Khosravi in eighth overall entering the finals.

In the finals, Khosravi posted an impressive score of 353.00 take his overall combined score to 606.60 and move up two whole places into sixth.

Overall, Tech divers failed to qualify for one of the open spots for the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships, which will be held in West Lafayette, Ind. and Columbus, Ohio over the next two weeks. In all, eight women and seven men punched their tickets to the NCAA’s this weekend at the meet.
