Casillas Posts Top-25 Finish at USA Diving National Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Georgia Tech swimming & diving’s Matt Casillas started his week off with a 24th-place finish in the senior men’s 1-meter springboard dive event on Tuesday at the 2017 USA Diving National Championships held at the McCorkie Aquatics Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.

Casillas earned a top-25 finish out of a total of 40 divers with a six-dive score of 255.05 in the 1-meter dive preliminaries.

The junior diver returns to the boards tomorrow to compete in the 3-meter springboard diving event. He will also participate in the platform dive on Thursday, Aug. 10.
