Casillas Competes in the 3-Meter Dive at USA National Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – After competing in the senior men’s 1-meter springboard event yesterday, Georgia Tech swimming & diving’s Matt Casillas dove in the senior men’s 3-meter springboard on Wednesday at the 2017 USA Diving National Championships held at the McCorkie Aquatics Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio.

Casillas carded a score of 261.00 in the 3-meter diving event on Wednesday to place 40th overall.

On Tuesday, he placed 24th overall out of a total of 40 divers with a six-dive score of 255.05 in the 1-meter dive preliminaries.

The junior will participate in the senior men’s platform dive tomorrow, Aug. 10.
