GREENSBORO, NC – Ray Beno and Will Jackson, a pair of Georgia Tech rising senior offensive linemen, were named to the 2012 Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Football Team, announced Wednesday by league commissioner John Swofford.

Jackson (Knoxville, Tenn.) is a three-time ACC All-Academic Team selection, while Beno (Newnan, Ga.) made the squad for the first time. Both players are business administration majors.

The team was chosen from a pool of 105 ACC football student-athletes who were nominated by their schools.

A Yellow Jacket has earned Academic All-ACC honors 16 times in head coach Paul Johnson’s five seasons at Georgia Tech. At least one Tech player has been selected for the team in each of the last 15 years.
