We would like to invite you to the GT swimming and diving alumni meet held on Friday, October 28. The order of events is listed below and you can swim as many events as you would like. Warm ups will start at 5:30PM and the meet will start at 6:30PM. We will be dividing up the alumni and current team members to have two teams containing both groups. The alumni will be swimming other fellow alumni and current swimmers will swim other current swimmers.
The scores from the separate heats will be combined for an overall team score for each team. Please email me if you are attending this year’s alumni meet, however, you do not need to tell me the events you wish to swim until the day of the meet. Hope to see you all there!
For tickets for the football game, please go to Buy Tickets. Then use the following user name (Swimanddive) and password (pool). These tickets are for alumni and family only.
After the meet, everyone is invited to the Fox and Hound or Loco-Luna for an alumni team dinner (to be decided at the meet on friday). Please e-mail me at mthrash@at.gtaa.gatech.edu if you are planning to attend so I can make arrangements.
Tailgating for the game will be at 12:30 p.m. on the top deck of the parking deck next to the pool. This will be catered with BBQ and beverages will be provided. There is no cost for the alumni. Please let Maria Thrash know if you are planning to attend the tailgate as well.
