Anderson Named ACC Tennis Rookie Of The Year

ATLANTA (Apr. 28) — Georgia Tech freshman Roger Anderson has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Year, selected by the nine league head coaches.

Anderson, from Pietermetzburg, South Africa, is the first Tech player to be named ACC Rookie of the Year. He led the Yellow Jackets (10-13, 4-4 ACC) with a 24-8 singles record, including a 15-5 mark in dual matches, playing No. 2 and No. 3 singles.

Anderson posted a 13-10 record in doubles.
