PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Kelly Anderson advanced to the consolation quarterfinals of the Qualifying Round at the 2005 Riviera/ITA Women’s All-American Championships with a win over No. 49 Iva Gersic of New Mexico Wednesday at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

The eighth-ranked singles player will begin competition in the main draw of singles as the No. 7 seed, facing 19th-ranked Emma Murphy of San Diego in the first round at 3 p.m. (EST).
