Aug. 18, 2012

THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech volleyball team showcased its 2012 talent at the Gold/White Scrimmage in front a great crowd at O’Keefe Gymnasium on Saturday, Aug. 18. The team signed autographs following the scrimmage.

“I’d like to thank all of the fans who came out and supported us today,” head coach Tonya Johnson said. “What a tremendous crowd we had here. I’m pleased with our kids and their effort and energy level while we were competing. I feel like there are some things we have to work on to get better, but I’m excited about our progress and where we are going. I look forward to playing next Friday.”

The Yellow Jackets open up the regular season Friday, Aug. 24 against Cal State Fullerton as part of their Georgia Tech Courtyard Invitational at O’Keefe Gym. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
