THE FLATS – Havoline Football Saturdays, an Emmy Award-winning summer television series brings its 12th season to a close Saturday, and included in the episode is a feature on Justin Thomas’ path to Georgia Tech. The show airs locally on WATL (MyTV) at 9 p.m. ET

This week’s show features Thomas, a star player out of Prattville High School in Alabama, that seemed destined for a career at the University of Alabama. The young man whose middle name is Bryant, after the legendary Crimson Tide coach, committed to Alabama. But after talks of a position change, he de-committed and signed with Georgia Tech and never looked back. See how that decision was the best for both Thomas and the Yellow Jackets.
