The To-Do List For Fans Attending The BYU Game

Oct. 25, 2012

Below are a list of all the fan-related activities on the schedule for this week:

Tech Town Friday Night
Start off your weekend by coming to Tech Town at Atlantic Station. Every Friday before a home football game at 7 p.m. come out to Central Park at Atlantic Station and join the Georgia Tech Cheerleaders, Goldrush and the Yellow Jacket Marching Band to root on the Yellow Jackets. Be sure to take a picture with Buzz and the Ramblin’ Wreck, an event that the whole family will enjoy.

Students on campus can get in on the fun at Atlantic Station as well. Be sure to hop on the free shuttle from campus to Tech Town to take part in all the fun at Atlantic Station. Shuttle service is available from four convenient pick-up locations: the Student Center, Athletic Department, Graduate Living Center and Fitten Hall from 6:30 to 9:30.

Atlantic Station Shuttle Service
Take advantage of complimentary game day shuttle service between Atlantic Station and Bobby Dodd Stadium. Park at Atlantic Station, beat the traffic to campus and enjoy a meal before or after the game at any of the restaurants and establishments on-site.

Wreckfest
Come to Fowler Street beginning three hours before kickoff and enjoy expanded activities for the entire family. We will have live music the whole family can enjoy from Calloway Plaza prior to the start of the game. This week’s band will feature Wesley Cook and Band. Additionally, inflatables, face painters, concessions and interactive promotions are planned for the whole family to enjoy. Also, make sure you do not miss our annual burrito eating contest brought to you by Willy’s Mexicana Grill that will start at 1:30.

Yellow Jacket Alley
Be the first to greet the team! Two hours and 30 minutes prior to each home game, make your way over to Yellow Jacket Alley (Brittain Drive) to see your favorite players up close and cheer them on as they march into Bobby Dodd Stadium. Listen for the whistle to blow 15 minutes before the team is to arrive.

McCamish Pavilion
The new home for Georgia Tech basketball, McCamish Pavilion, will be open prior to the BYU game from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. to the general public to take a sneak peek at our new state of the art basketball facility. Fans can also visit McCamish Pavilion Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. for prospective ticket buyers.
