REMINDER: Georgia Tech athletics has adopted a new policy of magnetic wanding at all entry gates at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Fans are urged to give themselves extra time to get into the stadium. Bobby Dodd Stadium gates open 90 minutes prior to kickoff, so entering early is a great way to avoid the spikes generally seen closer to game time.
Additionally, fans are also asked to please enter the stadium at the gate closest to their seats. Data from the Sept. 9 home opener versus Jacksonville State showed that more than half of the 50,000-plus fans in attendance entered the stadium at four of the stadium’s 10 gates: Gates 4 and 7 (Callaway Plaza), Gate 9 (Techwood Drive) and Gate 10 (North Avenue).
