Tech's Oliver Finishes 19th in 1500 Free at U.S. Spring Nationals

MINNEAPOLIS – Georgia Tech sophomore Eduardo Oliver continued an impressive showing on the national scene for the Jackets with a 19th-place finish in the 1500-meter freestyle at the Phillips 66 U.S. Swimming Spring National Championships.

He posted a time of 16:10.77.

Tech returns to action next weekend as three, possibly four, members of the men’s swimming and diving squad compete at the 2002 NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships at the University of Georgia.
