Tech's Foster Eighth in 100 Breast U.S. Swimming Spring Nationals

MINNEAPOLIS – Georgia Tech junior Robbie Foster finished eighth in the 100-meter breaststroke Friday at the Phillips 66 U.S. Swimming Spring National Championships.

He posted a time of 1:05.84, which was slightly slower than his time of 1:05.44 from the prelims.

Teammate Eduardo Oliver will compete in the 1500-meter freestyle Saturday.

Tech’s men’s swimming team returns to action next weekend when as many as four members of the squad will compete at the NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships, March 28-30, at the University of Georgia.
