Brendan Clark joined the Alexander-Tharpe Fund as associate director of development in August 2024, following a three-year stint at Ohio University. He was promoted to director of premium seating and major gifts in June 2026, where he supports premium sales strategy and communications for the department’s Full Steam Ahead renovation of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field – a project with nearly $95 million in premium seating assets.
As associate director of development, Clark was a key contributor to a record fundraising year for Georgia Tech Athletics that saw more than $110 million committed during FY26. During his time in the role, he helped raise nearly $6 million in program support.
Prior to Georgia Tech, Clark spent three years at Ohio University Athletics, advancing from assistant coordinator of development to assistant director of the Ohio Bobcat Club. In those roles, he enhanced sport-specific giving programs, supported fundraising operations, and helped identify new revenue opportunities for the department. He led a record campaign for Ohio wrestling and a capital campaign for a new swimming and diving video board, generating nearly $500K in added revenue.
Before Ohio, Clark served as a growth and innovation assistant in the University of North Carolina’s Ram’s Club (2020–21), focusing on data systems and donor database development. He began his career with UMass Athletics (2017–20), where he worked across the Minutemen Club and the athletics marketing office.
Clark earned his master’s of business administration and a master’s of sport administration from Ohio University (2022,2023). He also earned a bachelor’s of business administration in marketing and sport management from the University of Massachusetts in 2021.
