2021-22 (Junior): All-ACC third team…All-ACC Academic Team…ITA Scholar-Athlete…Produced a 17-7 overall singles record in the spring, including a 14-7 dual mark…Competed mainly at the No. 3 singles position, going 11-7…Was 3-0 from the No. 2 position…Went 7-4 against ACC opponents…Picked up three singles victories in the MLK Invitational to open the spring slate…Won eight of his first 10 singles matches…Collected a 6-3, 6-2 decision over then-No. 23 Trent Bryde of Georgia…Collected a three-set victory over No. 54 Ryan Goetz (Virginia), 5-7, 7-6 (7), 6-4…Won five-straight ACC singles matches…Clinched Tech’s win over Miami in the ACC Tournament, defeating Benjamin Hannestad in three sets, 6-0, 3-6, 6-4, propelling the Jackets to the quarterfinals…Clinched the doubles point in Tech’s victory over Miami in the ACC Tournament, collecting a 7-5 decision with Chen Dong over Bojan Jankulovski and Dan Martin…Went 6-5 in fall tournament action in singles…Finished with a 23-12 overall singles record and 14-17 doubles mark.

Sported a 10-7 singles record & 7-9 doubles record during fall tournaments and the 2020 regular season … picked up the singles title at the 2019 Georgia Tech Invitational after defeating Vanderbilt’s Macsen Sisam 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 … went 7-4 in singles during tournament play … earned a 3-1 record while competing on court three in doubles play … 3-0 in home singles matches with four going unfinished … won three straight doubles matches when paired with fellow true freshman Andres Martin against Auburn, The Citadel and No. 10 Tennessee from Feb. 9-19.
High School/Personal: No. 1 ranked player in the nation in the USTA Boys 16s standings … before deciding to graduate a full year early, Chopra was ranked in the top 5 nationally and No. 1 in Georgia in the class of 2020 according to tennisrecruiting.net … recent winner of the J3 San Jose ITF Tournament, defeated No. 12 Ronan Jachuck, No. 3 Alex Lee, and lastly No. 15 Mark Mandlik in the finals … has an overall record of 51-21, posting 13 wins over blue-chip players and 16 wins over 5-star players … won the Atlanta ITF and getting to the semi-finals of the National Boy’s 16’s Kalamazoo in 2018 … won IMG Academy 2019 Student Male Athlete of the Year Award.
