2021-22 (Senior): NCAA qualifier … Butterfly and freestyle swimmer … Bettered his school records in the 100 fly (45.24) and 200 fly (1:40.09) while also cracking the top three in the 200 breast (1:54.61) … Part of the record setting 200 free relay team who swam a time of 1:17.36 at the NCAA Championships … Placed fifth in the 200 fly (1:40.09) at the NCAA Championships … Was on every medley relay team at the NCAA Championships, swimming the fly … Swam the 200 fly (1:43.10, seventh), 100 fly (45.84, eighth) and 200 breast (1:54.61, 15th) at the ACC Championships … Earned an A cut early in the season at the Georgia Tech Invitational in the 200 fly (1:40.33), holding the only A cut in the event and the best time in the nation for nearly four months … Also earned a B cut in the 100 fly (45.61) at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Touched the wall first in the 200 fly six times this season (SCAD, 1:50.33; Florida State, 1:45.05; North Carolina, 1:45.35; Duke, 1:47.15; Georgia Tech Invitational, 1:40.97; Gardner-Webb, 1:49.88), three times in the 100 fly this season (Florida State, 47.71; Duke, 48.17; Georgia Tech Invitational, 45.61 ) and once in the 200 breast this season (Gardner-Webb, 1:59.91)

2019-20 (Junior): NCAA qualifier … One of Tech’s top performers this season, competing in the 100 and 200 fly, 200 breast, and 50, 100, 200 and 500 free … Part of the 200 free relay group (1:18.15) and 200 medley relay group (1:24.95) that each rank second in program history, as well as the 400 medley relay group that ranks fourth in program history (3:10.16) at the ACC Championships … Also competed this season with the team’s fastest 400 free relay (2:54.76) and 800 free relay (6:28.13) at ACCs … Tied his 100 fly school record time of 46.07 at the ACC Championships, earning an NCAA B qualifying time … His NCAA B qualifying 50 free at ACC Championships is seventh all-time (19.79), and in the 100 free at Georgia Tech Invitational is 10^th all-time (44.07) … Took fifth in the prelim (1:42.66) and sixth in the A final (1:42.93) in the 200 fly at the ACC Championships … Qualified for NCAAs with a blazing fast time of 1:41.70 at the Southern Premier … Started the season by winning the 100 fly (47.85) and 200 fly (1:45.86) against Florida State, and then won both events again, 48.48 in the 100 fly and 1:47.63 in the 200 fly, against Tennessee … Took gold in the 200 fly at the Georgia Tech Invitational with an NCAA B qualifying time of 1:42.42 … Touched the wall first in the 200 breast (2:01.63) and 200 fly (1:46.79) against Auburn … Earned two more golds in the 100 fly (48.78) and 200 fly (1:48.09) against South Carolina … Runner-up in the 200 free (1:38.53) and 200 breast (2:00.37) against Georgia Southern, SCAD.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Competed in the 50 fly, 100 fly and 200 fly at the NCAA Championships … Recorded one NCAA A qualifying time in the 200 medley relay, and six NCAA B qualifying times in the 100 fly and 200 fly … Set a school record in the 100 fly with his time of 46.07 at the NCAA Championships .. Also set a school record with the 800 free relay group at the NCAA Championships, with a time of 6:17.00 … Part of the 200 medley relay team that set a school record with an A qualifying time of 1:24.23 at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Swam the fastest 200 fly time of the season for the Jackets, finishing in 1:41.37 at the NCAA Championships … Also swam his fastest 50 fly of the season, finishing in 21.49 at the NCAA Championships … Set PRs in the 50 free (20.16) and 200 free (1:36.66) at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Competed in the 50 fly (21.69), 100 fly (46.82) and 200 fly (1:43.58) at the ACC Championships … Finishing first in the 200 fly with a B qualifying time of 1:41.56, and a recorded B qualifying time of 46.65 in the 100 fly at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Won the 100 fly (47.94) and 200 fly (1:46.02) against FSU, Pitt … Finished first in the 200 breast (2:02.52) vs. FGCU, SCAD … Finished second in the 100 fly (48.81) and third in the 200 free (1:39.41) vs. Notre Dame, Miami … Finished second in the 200 fly with a B qualifying time of 1:42.70 at the ACC-Big Ten Challenge … Won the 200 fly with a B qualifying time of 1:41.56 at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Placed first in the 50 fly (22.56) at the FAU Fun in the Sun Invite … Placed second in the 100 fly (49.50) and third in the 200 fly (1:49.62) vs. Auburn … ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2017-18 (Freshman): An NCAA Championships participant, competing in the 100 and 200 fly, as well as the 200 IM … Posted an NCAA A qualifying time of 1:41.26 in the 200 fly at the American Short Course Championships, which also ranked third overall in the ACC on the year … Also totaled 17 NCAA B qualifying times over the 100 fly, 200 fly and 200 IM events … Set the school record in the 200 fly with a time of 1:41.26 … Also swam the third leg on the 800 free relay team which set a new school record of 6:22.44 … Was also on Tech’s fastest 200 medley relay (1:25.81) and 400 medley relay (3:10.20) teams on the season … Also had the fastest time for the Jackets on the season in the 100 fly (46.65), which ranks fifth all-time in school history …  Turned in the third-best time on the year for Tech in the 200 IM (1:47.23), which also ranks fifth in Tech history … Had the fifth-best time on the season in the 500 free (4:28.32) and the sixth-best time on the team in the 400 IM (4:06.48)  … Tallied 17 top-five individual wins, highlighted by seven first-place finishes overall … Recorded wins in both the 100 fly (48.47) and 200 fly (1:47.14) events in the season-opening dual meet versus Pittsburgh … Also posted wins in the 200 fly at Notre Dame (1:47.63), at Northwestern (1:49.74) and at SCAD (1:49.09) … Swept the fly events in the dual meet at South Carolina, touching the wall first in the 100 fly (48.21) and 200 fly (1:45.92) … Finished runner-up in the 200 free at Northwestern (1:40.58) and versus Delta State (1:41.95) … Also finished second overall in the 200 fly at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a finals time of 1:44.48 … Registered a pair of runner-up finishes in the 500 free (4:38.24) and 100 fly (49.11) in the dual meet versus Emory … Placed third overall in the 500 free (4:37.01) at Northwestern and in the 200 fly (1:48.07) at nationally ranked Georgia … Touched the wall fourth overall in the 100 fly at Notre Dame (49.01) and at Georgia (49.07) … Finished fifth in the 100 fly with a finals time of 47.76 at the Georgia Tech Invitational … Also placed 18th overall in the 500 free (4:31.31) at the GT Invite … Finished sixth overall in the 200 fly (1:43.36) at the 2018 ACC Championships … Also placed 13th in the 100 fly (46.65) and 41st in the 500 free (4:29.71) at the conference championship meet … Placed 21st overall in the 200 fly (1:43.01) at the 2018 NCAA Championships … Also competed at the NCAA Championships in both the 100 fly (46.67) and 200 IM (1:48.24).

Before Tech: Competed in numerous Junior National Championships in his home country of Italy, swimming mostly in the 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly and 200 individual medley events … Turned in a number of top-four place finishes, touching first-place overall in the 200 butterfly at both the 2017 Junior National Championships and the 2015 Junior National Championships … Posted a second-place finish in both the 200 fly at the 2014 Junior National Championships and in the 200 breast at the 2012 Junior National Championships … Also placed third overall in the 200 IM at the 2015 Junior National Championships and fourth overall in the 200 fly at the 2016 Winter National Championships … Set the new team record in the 200 fly in the short course (1:55.79) on March 20, 2017 and then the long course record (1:59.03) on April 8, 2017 … Qualified for the semifinals in both the 100 and 200 butterfly events at the first European Games in 2015 … Competed at the 2017 Italian LCM Championships, turning in times of 55.17 in the 100 fly, 1:59.03 in the 200 fly and 2:07.74 in the 200 IM … Placed second overall in the 200 fly (2:00.00) at the Italian LCM Championships in August 2017, and also turned in ties of 59.39 in the 100 fly and 2.06.92 in the 200 IM … Attended the Istituto Statale d’Istruzione Superiore “Primo Levi” in Montebelluna (TV), Italy.

Personal: Has an older brother  … Chose Tech because of the opportunity to study and swim at the same time, the ranking of the school and the ranking of the swimming & diving program … Intends to major in chemical and biomolecular engineering.
