Reached the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship with senior teammate Juan Spir and was ranked 9th in the nation in doubles with an 20-6 overall record, 7-5 in dual matches … Won the doubles portion of the USTA/ITA Southeast Regional in Tallahassee, Fla. with Spir as his partner … Won the Back Draw Final at the National Collegiate Indoors in Flushing Meadow, N.Y. by winning three consecutive consolation matches … Reached the round of 16 for singles at the Southern Intercollegiate Championship in Athens, Ga. … Moved into the singles lineup at No. 3 early in the spring season until injuring a knee on Feb. 28 … Missed 10 matches and returned the last weekend of the regular season.
