2021 (Redshirt Senior): Finished his collegiate career with 41 starts and 58 games played over five seasons at Tennessee (2017-19) and Georgia Tech (2020-21), while making starts at four different positions (center, right guard, left guard and right tackle) and seeing playing time at six different positions (all five offensive line positions plus tight end) … Started all 22 games in two seasons at Georgia Tech, including all 12 in 2021 (10 at right guard, two at right tackle) … Was a four-time game captain, giving him eight captain assignments in his two seasons at Georgia Tech … Anchored an offensive line that paved the way for two running backs (Jahmyr Gibbs and Dontae Smith) to earn all-ACC recognition from Pro Football Focus … Earned a spot on the ACC all-academic team for the second-straight year in honor of his athletic and academic achievements … Named a member of the National Football Foundation’s 2021 Hampshire Honor Society, which annually recognizes college football’s top senior scholar-athletes.

2020 (Redshirt Senior – “Covid Year” – year of eligibility retained): Started all 10 games at right guard in first season at Georgia Tech … Helped Tech rank fourth in the Atlantic Coast Conference in fewest sacks allowed (2.3 per game) and fifth in the league in rushing (190.8 yards per game) while also serving as an on-field mentor for true freshman right tackle Jordan Williams …  Named one of the Yellow Jackets’ four permanent captains at the conclusion of the season … Named Academic All-District for the third time in his collegiate career in recognition of his accomplishments on the field and in the classroom … Also earned a spot on the ACC all-academic team in honor of his athletic and academic achievements.

2016-19 (Tennessee): Graduate transfer from Tennessee … Three-year letterwinner at Tennessee (2017-19), where he played in all 36 games over three seasons and made 19 starts, including 18-straight starts spanning his sophomore and junior seasons … Started games at both guard positions and center … Played five different positions at UT, including tight end … Made collegiate debut versus Georgia Tech in Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2017 … Graduated from Tennessee in two-and-a-half years (Dec. 2018) with a 3.86 grade point average in civil engineering … Pursued a master’s degree in structural engineering at UT in 2019 and compiled a 3.7 GPA while needing just six hours to complete the degree … Was a two-time academic all-district honoree and four-year member of SEC academic honor roll at UT … Nominee for the 2019 Wuerffel Trophy, which is given annually to the college football player “who best combines exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement” … Received UT football’s Commitment to Excellence award in 2018 … Member of team’s leadership council … Served as president of Student-Athlete Advisory Board and was a sitting member of the university’s Board of Athletics … Named a gameday captain vs. Florida in 2018 … Was a four-star recruit coming out of Brentwood Academy in 2016 … Ranked as one of the top 25 recruits in Georgia Tech history by 247Sports … Was high school teammates with former Georgia Tech defensive lineman Brandon Adams, who died prior to his senior season in March 2019 … Teamed with Adams to help lead Brentwood Academy to state championship in 2015 … Coached at Brentwood Academy by Cody White.

Personal: Earned three prestigious degrees in five-and-a-half years … Completed coursework for a B.S. in civil engineering from Tennessee in just two-and-a-half years (3.86 grade point average) … Needed just one year to earn a M.S. in structural engineering from Tennessee (3.7 GPA) … Graduated from Georgia Tech in just one-and-a-half years with a M.S. in analytics (3.66 GPA) … Father, Tyke, played football at Austin Peay … Mother, Judith, played tennis at Austin Peay.
