A former walk-on, Godhigh developed into one of the top big-play threats and crunch-time performers in college football… earned the 2013 Brian Piccolo Award from the ACC for overcoming three different surgeries… rushed for more than 1,000 career yards and had more than 500yards receiving… a two-year starter at A-back… was one of the ACC[apos]s biggest surprises in 2012… came to Georgia Tech as a walk-on in August, 2009… impressed the coaches early with his work ethic and began playing on special teams in 2010… developed into an outstanding blocker on the perimeter, earning him playing time as a sophomore in 2011… was awarded with a scholarship and emerged as a starter in 2012, replacing Roddy Jones at A-back… became one of Tech[apos]s most productive players — both as a rusher and a receiver… a good student who made the Dean[apos]s List.

2013 (senior): Earned honorable mention All-ACC honors by the media… named third team All-ACC by Phil Steele… invited to play in two postseason all-star games… was a candidate for the Burlsworth Trophy, which goes to the nation[apos]s best former walk-on… played and started in all 13 games… instrumental in Tech[apos]s win at eventual ACC Coastal Division champion Duke with four carries for 79 yards, and four receptions for 59 yards and a touchdown… recorded his first career 100-yard rushing game with an even 100 yards on nine carries vs. North Carolina (Sept. 21)… carried five times for 11 yards and a touchdown, and had one 38-yard reception at Virginia (Oct. 26)… rushed six times for 89 yards and two touchdowns, and had a nine-yard reception vs. Pittsburgh (Nov. 2)… rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns, and had a career-high five receptions for 103 yards in a nationally-televised Thursday night game at Clemson (Nov. 14)… became the first Tech player with 100 rushing and receiving yards in the same game since 2011… rushed for 71 yards and had four receptions for 82 yards vs. Georgia (Nov. 30)… carried 10 times for 50 yards and a touchdown, and had two receptions for 51 yards vs. Ole Miss in the Music City Bowl (Dec. 30).

2012 (junior): Started all 14 games… had 54 rushing attempts for 429 yards (7.9 yards per carry) and four touchdowns… had more touchdown receptions (4) than any player on the team… recorded 15 receptions for 227 yards… had 10 plays of 20-plus yards — only Orwin Smith (14) had more… scored Tech[apos]s first touchdown of the season on a 12-yard run at Virginia Tech (Sept. 3)… had a 45-yard TD reception vs. Presbyterian (Sept. 8)… rushed six times for 59 yards vs. Miami (Sept. 22)… carried four times for 61 yards and had one five-yard reception at Clemson (Oct. 6)… scored three touchdowns — all in the third quarter — in Tech[apos]s 68-50 win at North Carolina (Nov. 10)… had two rushing touchdowns and one 32-yard TD reception against the Tar Heels… had two touchdown receptions the following week against Duke (Nov. 17)… had 110 all-purpose yards at Georgia (Nov. 24) with 44 rushing yards and 66 receiving yards.

2011 (sophomore): Played in six games as a back-up at A-back… saw action against Western Carolina, Middle Tennessee State, Kansas, North Carolina, Duke and Utah… had two rushing attempts for 18 yards, including a long of 12 yards…. his first career rushing attempt was a six-yard gain vs. Western Carolina (Sept. 1)… also had a 12-yard rushing attempt vs. Kansas (Sept. 17). 2010 (redshirt freshman): Saw action in nine games, mostly on special teams… did not have a rushing attempt or reception.

2009 (true freshman): Redshirted… played a key role on the scout team. High School: Harrison High School… earned four varsity letters as a running back, cornerback and kick returner… served one year as team captain… also ran four years of track and wrestled for one season… helped lead football team to 2005 regional title… named all-state as a kick returner in 2008… the `08 county player of the year.
