2015-16 (Freshman): Had a strong season adding to the depth of the Jackets’ mid-distance group … Showed his versatility by competing in six events during the season … Recorded a career-best time in the 100 breast at 56.29 at the GT Qualifier, placing him fourth among the Jackets on the season … Broke 2:00 for a career-best time of 1:58.86 in the 200 breast at the GT Qualifier, making him a solid third among the Yellow Jackets … CSCAA scholar all-American honorable mention.

Before Tech: Lettered for four years at Duluth High School in Duluth, Ga. … Spent two seasons as captain … Competed in IM, breast and fly events … Swam at the Junior Nationals in San Antonio, Texas, finishing sixth in the 200m breaststroke to re-earn Olympic Trial cut … Holds Duluth High School’s record in the 200 IM, 100 breast and 200 free relay events … Finished 15th of 521 students in his high school graduating class.
