Played in 35 games on the season, earning 17 starts … Missed eight games with a sprained wrist but returned in early May … Posted two multi-hit and two multi-RBI games … Hit a .281 clip with two doubles, five home runs and 12 RBI on the season … Was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts, tying for the third most swipes on the team … Went 3-for-6 with a double, home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Tech’s 13-4 win over Rutgers (2/28) … Had two hits, including a two-run homer, and a pair of stolen bases against Maryland (3/6) in the series opener … Hit his third home run of the season against Kennesaw State (3/11) … Went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in a 9-3 win over Georgia State to open play at the NCAA Atlanta Regional (5/30) … Went 2-for-2 with two RBI while hitting his fifth home run of the season in a 10-3 win over Southern Miss at the NCAA Atlanta Regional(5/31).
2008
Started nine games in left field, eight in center, and one in right field while playing in 42 of the Yellow Jackets’ 62 games on the season … Hit .301 with four doubles, three home runs and a triple in his third year with the program … Hit .360 over his last 15 games … Posted six multi-hit and four multi-RBI games on the year … Hit the first home run of his career when he came off the bench for a 2-for-3 performance against Youngstown State (2/22) … Also had three RBI in the game against the Penguins … Hit a pinch-hit, run-scoring single against Rutgers (3/2) … Helped Georgia Tech to a 5-3 win over Kennesaw State (3/5) with a pinch-hit sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth inning … Went 2-for-3 with a home run against Virginia Tech (3/8) … Had two hits, including his first career triple, against Duke (3/22) … Went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles and two RBI vs. Alabama State (3/26) … Tied a career high with three hits at Maryland (4/19), going 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored … Had a pinch-hit, two-run home run and an RBI ground out in the series finale against Clemson (5/11) … Plated Tech’s first run of the postseason with an RBI double against NC State (5/21) in the ACC Championships.
2007
Played in a total of 28 games during the season, including making seven starts … Went 1-for-3 with a run scored and a sacrifice bunt against Illinois-Chicago in the second start of his career (2/17) … Had a hit and a pair of runs scored in the series opener against Boston College (3/16).

A three year letterwinner for coach Tim Lemons at Chattahoochee High School … Ranks as the school’s career leader in batting (.405), triples (11) and runs scored (94), and ranks second in hits (103), total bases (183) and stolen bases (39) … Named to the All-North Fulton team in 2004 and 2005 … Played with the East Cobb Cardinals in 2004 and 2005 … Also lettered two years of football for coach Terry Crowder.
