Talented outfielder that has been a part of the Georgia Tech program for four years … An excellent all-around athlete that can play all three outfield positions … Has gap-to-gap power and can drive the ball out … Very athletic player that has excellent speed … Will start in left field his senior year after playing mostly as a DH in 2009 … Named a captain for the 2010 season. Member of the ACC Honor Roll in 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.

2009
Played in 35 games on the season, earning 17 starts … Missed eight games with a sprained wrist but returned in early May … Posted two multi-hit and two multi-RBI games … Hit a .281 clip with two doubles, five home runs and 12 RBI on the season … Was 5-for-6 in stolen base attempts, tying for the third most swipes on the team … Went 3-for-6 with a double, home run, three RBI and three runs scored in Tech’s 13-4 win over Rutgers (2/28) … Had two hits, including a two-run homer, and a pair of stolen bases against Maryland (3/6) in the series opener … Hit his third home run of the season against Kennesaw State (3/11) … Went 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base and two runs scored in a 9-3 win over Georgia State to open play at the NCAA Atlanta Regional (5/30) … Went 2-for-2 with two RBI while hitting his fifth home run of the season in a 10-3 win over Southern Miss at the NCAA Atlanta Regional(5/31).
