As a Sophomore (2023): Played in all 53 games, starting in 52 of them at second base … Led the Jackets with a two grand slams … Tied for second on the squad in hits with 39 … Ranked third on the team with six doubles and 31 RBI on the season … Batted .242 for the year, also blasting six home runs and picking up a triple for 21 runs scored … Slugged .404 with a .289 on-base percentage for the year … Nine multi-hit games … Barreled a pair of home runs in the I-75 Tournament, including her first career grand slam in a 12-2 (5), mercy-rule victory over UNI (March 3) … Hammered her second grand slam of the season in a 6-1 triumph over Georgia State (April 18) … Piling up eight RBI once over a week’s span … Laced a go-ahead solo shot in the top of the seventh in game two against then No. 10 Duke … Reached as high as a six-game hitting streak … Batted .438 as she went 7-for-16 with a double, a triple and seven RBI in the Queen City Classic … Set and tied a single-game career high of four RBI in a 9-8 victory over Kent State along with her grand slam outings against Georgia State and UNI.
As a Freshman (2022): Appeared in 38 games, starting in 30 … Started 17 games at second, 12 in the outfield and one as designated player … Batted .260 on the season with 26 hits for three doubles one triple, one home run, 13 RBI, 15 runs scored and 34 total bases … Averaged a .330 on-base percentage and a .340 slugging percentage while drawing nine walks … Defensively, totaled 43 putouts and 19 assists for a .984 fielding percentage … Blasted a two-run home run for her first collegiate hit in the form of a mercy-rule, walkoff against Mercer for a 9-1 victory (Feb. 15) … Her four total bases against Mercer marked a career-high … Swatted her first career triple against Louisville (March 18) … Tallied a career-high three RBI in a 9-1 mercy-rule victory over Georgia State (Feb. 23) …Five multi-hit games.
High School: Attended North Gwinnett High School, where she helped lead the team to two regional titles in 2017 and 2019, and state runner-up in 2020. The middle infielder earned all-county honors in her junior and senior seasons, and was named a GADC Senior All-State Game selection in 2020. She ranked No. 64 nationally in the Extra Inning Softball 2021 Extra Elite 100, where she was also tabbed the No. 50 middle-infielder in the country. Connelly intends to major in industrial engineering.
