As A Junior In 2013-14: Posted season-best times in both the 200 IM and 400 IM at the Georgia Tech Invitational… Was 11th in the 200 IM (1:55.65) and sixth in the 400 IM (4:03.89)… Recorded his season-best 200 fly time of 1:52.90 at the Yellow Jacket Championship Qualifier.

As A Sophomore In 2012-13: Recorded career-best times in both the 200 fly and 200 IM… Put down a time of 1:50.28 in the 200 fly at the Yellow Jacket Championship Qualifier that ranked as Tech[apos]s third-fastest for the season… Was clocked at 1:52.94 at the ACC Championship in the 200 IM, which was good for 24th-place… Was 23rd in the 400 IM at the ACC Championship in a time of 4:01.80… Bettered that 400 IM time at the Yellow Jacket Qualifier (4:00.74).

As A Freshman In 2011-12: Established all three of his season-best times at the Virginia Tech Invitational in early February… Swam to a second-place finish in the 400 IM at Virginia Tech in a time of 3:56.98, after winning the morning preliminary swim… That 400 IM time moved him to eighth on the Yellow Jackets[apos] all-time list… Was sixth in the 200 fly at Virginia Tech in a time of 1:53.19, and was also sixth in the 200 IM (1:54.84).

High School: A four year letter winner for Rich Murphy at Chattahoochee High School in Johns Creek … Named captain during his senior season … All-American in the 200 medley relay during his senior season … A high school record holder, earned the dynamo excellence award and a national qualifier … AP Scholar as well as honor roll student.

Personal: Born Dylan Saunders Kase on November 16, 1992 in Atlanta, Ga. … Parents are Robert and Susan Kase … Brother to Samantha and George … Chose Tech because of the academics, the athletics and a great team atmosphere … Hobbies include water skiing and jet skiing … Started swimming at the age of eight … Undecided on his major.
