2019-20 (Junior): Match-by-Match

Earned a 4-1 record during the 2020 regular season … His 8-3 doubles record during tournament and regular season play gained him the highest win percentage for the Jackets, with a 5-1 tour record … won three straight singles matches from Feb. 9-28 including victories over No. 33 Miami’s Dane Dunlap 6-3, 6-3, and No. 40 Clemson’s Pierre-Louis Dodens 6-2, 6-0 … paired up with senior Chris Yun to defeat No. 15 Florida State’s Rana Roop Bhullar/Richard Thongoana 6-4, earning the doubles point for the Jackets (Mar. 1) …  reached the doubles semifinals at the ITA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS in Gainesville, Fl.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Match-by-Match

Finished his sophomore season with a 6-5 overall singles record … won four straight singles matches from Jan. 21 – Mar. 15 … earned his first win of the season at the MLK Tournament (Jan. 21), defeating Britton Johnston of Georgia 5-7, 6-4, 10-5 … won both matches against The Citadel (Jan. 23), besting Phillip Quinn 6-1, 6-1 in the first duel singles match before defeating Will Graham 6-0, 6-3 in the second duel singles match … helped the Yellow Jackets upset No. 7 North Carolina (Mar. 15), topping Simon Soendergaard 6-2, 6-2 … defeated Clement Filho of Louisville 7-5, 6-3 on Apr. 7 … defeated Sean Mullins, 6-4, 6-7, 10-8 to give the Jackets a 5-2 victory over Boston College in the regular-season finale (Apr. 14) … made six doubles appearances, pairing with Phillip Gresk twice, Chris Yun once and Andrew Li three times … Freestone and Li defeated Andrew Rogers and Martim Prata of Tennessee 6-4 on Feb. 24.

2017-18 (Freshman): Match-by-Match

Capped his inaugural campaign for the Yellow Jackets with a 5-7 overall record, including a 3-6 record in tournaments to start his collegiate career … continued to battle and learn all season, moving to capture two wins in his three appearances in dual matches at the No. 6 spot … won four-straight singles matches (Nov. 3, 2017-Jan. 9, 2018) … defeated ACC foe Virginia’s Jerome Romualdez, 6-0, 6-2 before toppling SEC foe Auburn’s Alex Mascioli, 6-4, 6-3 … made his final singles appearance of the season on March 23 in conference action versus Virginia, falling in a brutal three-set match to Kyrylo Tsygura, 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 … made seven appearances on the doubles court, mainly partnering up with senior Elijah Melendez … alongside Melendez, captured a 3-1 record, including three-straight to close, en route to a 3-4 record overall.
