2017-18 (Freshman): Competed for the Yellow Jackets in the 100 and 200 breast events … Made huge strides throughout her freshman campaign … Recorded the fourth-fastest times on the team in both the 100 breast (1:03.93) and 200 breast (2:19.06) events … Posted the eighth-best time for Tech on the year in the 200 IM (2:14.26) … Recorded a pair of top-five finishes in the dual meet against Delta State, placing fourth in the 100 breast (1:08.12) and fifth in the 200 breast (2:31.08) … Posted a fifth-place finish in both the 100 breast (1:10.04) and 200 breast (2:32.00) events at SCAD … Finished sixth in the 200 breast (2:32.81) in the season-opening meet against Pittsburgh … Also finished eighth in the 100 breast (1:09.14) in the dual meet versus Pitt … Took eighth-place overall in the 200 breast event at nationally ranked Georgia (2:29.13) and in the road meet at South Carolina (2:30.56) … Touched the wall in eighth place overall in the 50 free (26.68) versus Emory … Finished ninth in the 100 breast (1:08.53) at South Carolina … Also recorded a time of 1:08.14 in the 100 breast in the final dual meet of the season against Emory.

Before Tech: Swam for the SK Neptun Swim Club and head coach Niko Martikainen in Sweden … Helped guide her club team to four-straight national championships and earn them the title of “Best Swimming Club in Sweden” … Reached the finals in the 100 and 200 breaststroke events at the 2017 Swedish Nationals meet … Competed at the 2016 Junior National Championships, taking third-place overall in a relay event … Also competed in the 100 breast at the 2016 Swedish Championships Long Course … Swam in both the 100 and 200 breast events at the 2016 Swim Open Stockholm and the 2015 Swedish Championships Short Course … Was the valedictorian for her graduating class both in 2017 and 2014 … Served as a member of the board on her school’s student council and was also a student ambassador.
