Behind the hitting of Lauren Sauer who had 12 kills and hit .455, the No. 24 Georgia Tech volleyball team defeated Florida A&M in three games, 30-27, 30-22, 30-25. With the win, the Yellow Jackets improve to 26-5 while the Rattlerettes fall to 20-5.

“It was great to see Lauren Sauer have such a good match today,” said head coach Bond Shymansky. “She played very well today and at times crushed some balls for kills. Florida A&M is a good team and gave us some challenges, but we fought through them like a poised team does and that was good to see.”

Florida A&M was led by Adriana Kostadinova who had 18 kills in the match.

Georgia Tech returns to action Friday when they host Wake Forest at 6:30 in O’Keefe Gymnasium.
