THE FLATS — Week six of the 2016-17 NFL regular season once again saw a number of #ProJacket defenders step up and make big plays for their respective teams.
Safety Morgan Burnett totaled a season-high 10 tackles on Sunday afternoon, which included seven solo stops and three assisted tackles. He also had two pass breakups and recorded his first interception of the season, picking off Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott for the first time in the Cowboy’s rookie year.

Defensive lineman Derrick Morgan and Michael Johnson each had a sack for their respective teams on Sunday, while rookie cornerback D.J. White registered a career-high four total tackles in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 26-10 win over the Oakland Raiders.
Offensive guard Shaq Mason played in his sixth game, starting his fifth straight, on Sunday for the Patriots, who put up 35 points on the Cincinnati Bengals and totaled 437 yards in the win.
While Daryl Smith and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were on a bye week this week, last Monday night Smith picked off the Carolina Panthers’ Cam Newton in a Monday Night Football win. CLICK HERE to see the interception.
