Georgia Tech sophomore kicker Justin Moore was named the ACC Specialist of the Week, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Moore was a perfect 6-of-6 on PAT attempts, extending his streak of consecutive made PATs to 34. He also booted a key fourth-quarter field goal from 40 yards in the fourth quarter that helped seal the Yellow Jackets’ 45-35 win at NC State on Saturday.
Moore is on pace to break Tech’s single-season PAT record of 53, held by Luke Manget in 1999.
A Georgia Tech player has earned an ACC weekly honor six times this season.
